Day 64: 1609 km

24.7 miles (39.8km)

28 Jun 2018

Like yesterday, a very uneventful day. Most exciting part happened at the end when we crossed the 1000 mile marker. I decided to take another shot at this selfie thing. It was hard to fit all the zeroes. It felt nice to cross this marker.

Right before the 1000 mile mark was a pretty iffy river crossing. Fairy deep water and a small log across, rather high above the water. I contemplated stepping over it way too long, making it a lot harder than necessary but I did safely walk across eventually. No intention to fall into a river again.

Tomorrow we get to Bridgeport for a quick resupply and after that a few days to South Lake Tahoe, the last stop before entering the North California section.
