We're not really good at taking it easier and hike shorter days.
Halfway through the day, we pass a nice lake but apart from Roadrunner nobody is brave enough to go for a swim. The water feels much colder than most previous lakes and the sun is hiding behind the clouds. I'm fine with soaking my feet and cleaning my legs somewhat.
Second part of the day we pass through another large burned area, making it almost impossible to find a decent campsite until we get to the other side. At least we get closer to Cascade Locks.
